Things have been quiet on the website recently as everyone is focussed on getting the latest version of KCM ready for release later this month. We’re slightly behind where I’d hoped to be, but I took the decision to delay release so that we could address a couple of important issues found during testing.

Most importantly, there were performance problems in large databases which needed addressing. The new Object Management and Report Structure screens were not as swift as they should have been. Having identified these problems, dramatic improvements have been made in the last couple of weeks and I’m really happy with the results.

This additional time has also allowed the team to address many bugs, resulting in a much smoother product.

Based on testing feedback, alterations have been made to a number of user interface elements and we think that the overall experience is much slicker.

More updates as they become available.
